Our new concept for Elgiganten was awarded the ”Omnichannel Experience of the Year Award” at the Swedish Retail Awards in 2018. Elgiganten also received the award for ” Retail Chain of the Year.” The underlying insight behind it, supported by extensive research, is that commercial retail success is based on the fact that a well-developed network of brick-and-mortar stores drives online sales, and the better your online offer is, the more traffic you drive to your physical stores. It is not one or the other. It is both.
